Style observations from Sweden (with photos)

The stereotype that Swedes dress well is actually rather true, at least when put into proper perspective.

It isn't necessarily the case that the average Swedish fellow is more interested in sartorial pursuits than his counterpart in America.

Case in point: Even older gentlemen dress in trim denim jeans and a sport jacket sans necktie. Why? It's because of the merchandise on the shelves of stores. You simply don't see double-pleat chinos.

Of course, it also helps that Swedes aren't as obese as Americans, which allows them to wear trimmer cuts of clothing.

The following photographs are from a trip over the weekend to Gothenburg, Sweden's second-largest city.
