Showing your true colors

Editor's note — This is part of a continuing Pinstripes and Tweed series on custom clothing

A few months back, we wrote about S. Cohen's stellar iMeasure Custom Cuts program, which includes an option for custom lining.

Utilizing its innovative technology S. Cohen is able to print just about any image — family crests, team or corporate logos and even photographs of loved ones — on the lining of a jacket.

One of the most obvious markets would be the collegiate market, where many alumni and fraternity members would be inclined to wear a blazer with lining featuring the college's mascot or coat of arms.

The market for such blazers is particularly strong in the Old Confederacy, where it isn't uncommon to find collegians dressed in jackets and ties at pre-game football tailgates.

Capitalizing on the market's nearly unlimited potential, Nordstrom has started to carry classic navy blazers by S. Cohen with custom linings for alumni and fans of Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia and South Carolina.

The limited range doesn't mean gentlemen with other loyalties are without options.

Any S. Cohen retailer can order exactly what you want with options ranging from half-canvassing, natural shoulders and patch pockets to side vents and surgeon's cuffs.

This makes Montreal-based S. Cohen a necessity for all the stalwart supporters out there.
