GQ reviving interest in the staples

One of the best things about GQ isn't the monthly magazine. It's the series of articles on the magazine's website called "Dropping Knowledge," which offer up a history of the classic staples that any discerning gentleman should have in his possession.

With articles on Shetland sweaters, Harris tweed, Chesterfield coats and so much more, the must-read series is written by Jake Gallagher of the blog Wax-Wane.com.

If the blanket isn't enough for you then consider the Strathcona duffle coat (pictured below) — the ultimate winter coat.
